Make it all worth while

For the past year and a bit, I've been travelling around to different countries, meeting different people from all over the world, indulging in different cultures and their lifestyles. I've watched the endless sunsets on the coast of east-pacific Asia, snowboarded in one of the best powder snow conditions in Northern Japan, climbed the beautiful mountains in Northern Canada surrounded by lakes that mirror the mountain's image, watched some of my favourite bands perform in Boston, skated world-known spots with the locals down in California and watched a fire dance near Death Valley while we paint the skies with fireworks.

Through my work and travels, it's led me to a path of deeper understanding of life that can only be gained by experience. I keep my mind open for all and any experiences that come my way and continuously learn, polish and develop my own personal being.

One particular person was fascinated by my lifestyle and he had endless amounts of questions for me but he had one question I had no answer to - the question was

"If you could share one message to the world, what would it be?"

I didn't have an immediate answer then but I do now.

About a year ago, I lost someone who was very close to me. That was the wake up call for me and a turning point in my life to see clearly like I have never seen before. It was at that moment I realized that life could change in an instant and that I should really treat each day as if it were my last.

I want to convey the message of the beautiful unpredictability of life and how we don't know what day will be our last - to live every moment as if it were our last.

I've witnessed too many people throwing their selves away to doing what they despise, working countless hours just to make the money when they don't even know what they are working for.

Take the risk.

Take that chance to do what you really want to do.

Because a shorter, more full-filled life is better than an empty long one.

Never be afraid of unpredictability.

Make it all worth your time.

2 Days Left

Hey.

2 Days before I head back to Tokyo.

Niseko has treated me well with the amount the crazy amount of snow, amazing people and good food. Travelling to go snowboarding all over Hokkaido was an amazing experience - we hit everything from powder, groomers, park to urban. The experience I gained through this job will be used to develop my own creative style.
